Infiltration and Embedding Medium PureAffin ® R53 ™ Low Melting Point, for infiltration and embedding, consists of a specialized bend of low-molecular-weight paraffin and polymers to reduce melting point. This lower melting point protects tissues from excessive temperature during processing. R53™ is twice filtered and formulated to provide optimal structural support of properly fixed and processed tissues resulting in thin sectioning with minimal compression. R53™ is a premium all-purpose paraffin formulation; intended for use in all automated processors and embedding centers. Melting point 50-54°C
