The Mohs ImmunoDigestor is used for the enzymatic digestion of frozen tissues prior to immunohistochemical (IHC) procedures. The enzymatic digestion of frozen tissues fixed with acetone or NBF 10%, improves accessibility of antibodies to epitopes within tissue sections. In the case of IHC, proteolytic digestion exposes certain epitopes which have been masked during fixation, especially with NBF10%.Presentation Description
