The Pap Perfect® Plastic Spatula gently rubs the mucosa, ensuring a rich sample from ectocervix. The polypropylene plastic is inert and will release collected cells easily onto the slide for Pap smear or in the vial for Liquid Cytology. The Pap Perfect® Plastic Spatula is a single-use, Non-sterile device. Discard after use.
The Pap Perfect® Plastic Spatula is used to collect cell samples from the ectocervix for Pap smear or Liquid Cytology. (The endocervical sample is usually collected with a Cytobrush Plus® GT Endocervical Sampler.)
