Hollandes Fixative is designed to be used for tissues that contain large amounts of mucin and inflammatory cells, such as bowel biopsies. It is a coagulant fixative with powerful precipitation powers, especially for nucleoprotein. It is an excellent fixative for gastrointestinal biopsies.
