CoverSeal-Plus enables slide preparations to be simultaneously cleared and coverslipped in one easy step. This unique product eliminates the need to use hazardous xylene or xylene substitutes as a clearing agent in histology and cytology laboratories.

When using CoverSeal-Plus, simply do away with the final step of clearing and coverslip directly from 99% isopropyl alcohol or use a fresh dish of 100% Reagent Grade Ethanol. Excess mounting medium must be cleaned from the slide and coverslips (if necessary) can be removed only with a solvent such as xylene or a citrus type solvent.  It can also be used as a routine mounting medium and is formulated for both manual and automatic coverslipping and is compatible with most industry clearing agents.
